Who Provides Writing Assistance?

All writing instruction and review is conducted by current university faculty members with extensive experience in grammar, composition, and literature. In addition to faculty English instructors, peer student tutors, through the Writer's Den program, offer an additional option for basic review and writing assistance. 

Our writing instructors use their experience and love of language to guide students through the writing process within many disciplines.

They assist with COM and WRI assignments, lab reports, and professional documents including cover letters and résumés.

Students are encouraged to bring reports from laboratory sections for review as well as traditional communications assignments in order to improve writing in all of their courses.
